01 ·Teaching Features
Specialized in a hybrid (offline/online) learning approach in Biology and Chemistry for International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) Higher Level or Standard Level, as well as A Level. I can also provide IBDP IA assistance for both subjects with professional publication style referencing and writing. The students I have taught thus far all improved at least one grade or more. Having over 80 pages of exam questions on average for each topic within Biology and Chemistry at your fingertips as your tutor, my approach focuses on the following:
- Building confidence towards exam papers, tailoring lessons through a mixture of theory to applying theory in practice with papers throughout the lesson.
- Covering students' weaker topics to better prepare them for the exams.
- Exemplar snippet: Sample past paper questions and guidance for Paper 1A Structure 1 Chemistry: View the sample paper (PDF)
Apart from Chemistry/Biology, I provide additional tailored support outside of lesson times for CV guidance, application writing assistance and interview practice for university admissions, to better prepare my students. It's a stressful time to prepare for your university applications; I know how it feels, and I am here to guide you through every step of it.
After all, my tutoring philosophy is the progressive, holistic development of every one of my students.
